Weekend in Southaven

Ok, I know I have been a bit of a slacker....this is just for you, Jennifer!

We spent last weekend in Southaven with our friends Wes, Jennifer and Wesley. Connor and Wesley finally got to play after all this time. We started out at the Memphis Red Birds game. Connor was scared the entire game because he knew fireworks were coming at the end.

Cooper's Party

Ok parents! I have found the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon with a 2 year old! Cooper had his 3rd birthday party at Froggy's. It is a party place that has those huge jumping toys. Connor loves it. I thought at first that he would need someone to climb up and slide down with him. Boy was I wrong! Grana went with him on his first trip down the slide, and that's all it took. We could barely keep up with him the rest of the day. Why didn't I think of opening a place like this? Enjoy the pics.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was quite an experience for Connor this year! We started with Maddie Mae's 1st birthday party and went straight into trick or treating. That was my first mistake! Connor did really good for a while, but after being stressed out by Maddie and James' dog coming with us, and the older kids with scary masks, our night was pretty much finished! We decided to go to Aunt Dede's house to watch the MSU game. We won, so that was awesome! Maybe next year Connor won't be quite so scared of the older kids or dogs. I do think this was a preview of how Santa pictures might go. Better just save my money and do them with my own camera! Connor did sneak a sucker while riding in the wagon. I've had to hide the entire loot of suckers or we would have a pretty hyper two year old! I didn't get any really great pictures, so I plan on staging Halloween pics this weekend. As most of you know, Dede has gotten me into scrap booking. This pretty much means that I have to have perfect pictures for every possible scrap book event. Halloween night didn't produce good pics, so we will try again, and again until I'm happy!

Hey everyone! I am tired of posting pics on apple.com because I constantly forget how and Al has to remind me. That gets on my nerves, so I decided to do a blog. Grandparents, family, and friends, I will try to keep you in the loop of our adventures with Connor. He just turned 2 on Oct. 2. I am having a little trouble calling him a toddler or a little boy, but people make fun of me if I say he is a "baby". I guess it is time to accept that he is growing up.

Our latest adventure has been Mississippi State football. Connor is more excited than ever to watch the football games. We also took him

to Boo at the Zoo on Sunday. He was a little young for all the games,

but at least he got to practice trick -or- treating!
